The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After leaving Penn State in 1974, I moved to Clarks Summit,Pennsylvania, and had a very rewarding teaching career with Abington Heights School District. I was an elementary teacher for the first part of my career and finished the last 12 years as a middle school counselor. I also was an adjunct professor at the University of Scranton. I retired from Abington Heights in the spring of 2009 and moved back to State College where I now work part time at Penn State and enjoy "semi-retirement." I am so thrilled to be back in State College since leaving here and cherish the many memories of the 7th floor Ritner girls, being among the first women to live in the Nittany "barracks", softball intramurals, relaxing on Old Main lawn, Students for State, and the fun times in town at Playland and the College Diner. Now I get to enjoy campus and town life in a completely different phase of my life. What could be better!!
